· The original strain of Bailey line Hondurans came from Marc Bailey. I believe he gave up the project and sold the group - some remained in the USA while others came to Europe. This is my account of
what I know about these wonderful animals and my part in their story. Back in 2013 a friend asked me to care for two Bailey females so I took them on and soon had them eating rats and maturing
quickly. I bred one of the females to a Tangerine Honduran male resulting in one clutch which hatched successfully - I kept one male back which I nick-named Penis Head as he had a particular marking
which resembled - well you know what!! I went on to keep one of the original female Bailey lines so now I had a pair. I grew Penis Head to adulthood and bred him to this female (not his mother!).
This resulted in a clutch of 7 eggs - I kept back the trio that you see now. A pair went to USA and the remaining 2 females were sold in Europe. Unfortunately the original European Trio all perished
in 2015 so at that point the only Baileys left on the continent were the ones that I had bred. Events don’t end there and in 2016 my collection of milk snakes took a massive hit - possibly a virus -
and I lost both Bailey Line parents. This means that as far as I know the only trio of Bailey Line snakes in Europe are the ones I have. Hopefully in 2019 this trio will produce some stunning babies
that I can release to future breeders
